Exam prep
Nursing flashcards built from what your program actually teaches
Nursing content is enormous, and pre-made decks never quite match your program’s sequence or your instructor’s emphasis. Building cards from your own lectures keeps the deck aligned with what will be on your exams.
Why build from your own material
- Matches your course. Cards come from this term’s pharmacology lecture, not a generic deck from three years ago.
- Diagrams and tables survive. Lab value tables, ECG strips, and anatomy figures are cropped from the PDF onto cards.
- Reasoning, not just recall. Cards carry a short explanation on the back, and the tutor can walk through why a nursing action is correct, from your own notes.
- One place for everything. Folders per course, search across every deck and highlight, and offline study on the floor between patients.
A setup that works for nursing programs
- Make a folder per course: Fundamentals, Med-Surg, Pharm, Maternal-Newborn, Peds, Mental Health.
- Upload each lecture PDF or slide deck the week it is taught and generate a deck into that folder.
- Before a unit exam, study the folder so topics mix the way they will on the test.
- Keep a “missed” deck: copy cards you get wrong into it and study that deck daily for the last week.
Cost for a full program
Making your own cards is free with no limits. Generating decks from lectures uses your document allowance: two free, ten a month on Basic ($4.99), thirty a month on Pro ($9.99). A typical semester with four or five lectures a week fits on Pro, and a lighter load on Basic.
Questions
Does it handle drug names and dosages?
Yes, as text from your lecture. Always verify dosages against your official references; the cards reflect what your material says.
Can I share decks with my cohort?
Yes. Publish any deck as a public page; classmates can study it online or copy it into their own account.
Can I use it on my phone during clinicals?
Yes. Install it from the browser; opened decks work offline.
